Lawyer, graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude (1992).
Pre-LL.M. Orientation in the US Legal System, Georgetown University (1993).
Master’s in Comparative Law (LL.M. Degree), New York University (1997).
Professor of Economic Law, School of Law of Universidad de Chile (1998 – to date).
Mr. Ortiz has extensive experience in foreign trade, corporate and antitrust matters, as well as in customs and exchange regulations. He has represented and advised a wide range of clients, both Chilean and foreign, including banks, local and international companies, suppliers and distributors.
