Mr. Marchant is an advisor to several companies in matters related to their corporate activities, as well as in the areas of natural resources, tax matters, technology and IP. In the area of natural resources, he has advised and headed procedures involving the creation and development of mining property, the establishment of water use rights, and advises fruit production and export companies. In the area of technology and IP, he has advised important domestic and foreign software developers, particularly in anti-piracy and copyright matters.
He also concentrates his practice on legal and arbitral proceedings related to civil, commercial and labor matters. Mr. Marchant has additionally headed the legal defense in several bankruptcy proceedings and in pre-trial and in-court settlements and agreements.
